Welcome to Germany’s oldest whisky distillery!
Bavarian whisky from north-eastern Bavaria in our case – is not as new as one might think. We have been doing this for a long time. More precisely since the 19th century when our family began storing their grain spirits in old oak barrels and selling them as “brown grain schnapps”. Our whisky was born.
Experience accumulated over six generations, combined with artisanal distilling, the use of regional raw materials and our self-image as citizens of the Upper Palatinate make our Stonewood whisky special. Genuinely Bavarian.
Named after our home – the Naturpark Steinwald conservation area – all our whisky shares the name StonewoodNow, discover the 4 BAVARIANS – whisky from the Steinwald!
